Welcome to Barnard Early Childhood Center!

Barnard is home to the District’s only pre-school programs (UPK and magnet) as well as our magnet kindergarten, grades 1 and 2. We offer a comprehensive educational experience which includes physical education, fine arts, Italian and library media.  Students will have experiences at each grade level that align with the New York Common Core Learning Standards.  There will be opportunities throughout the year to visit the school, as well as hear about our curriculum and what it means for your child.

Our staff and PTA will host multiple family evenings and special events.  Please utilize our Barnard Calendar to keep you informed and up to date! We look forward to seeing you at the events that interest you.

On behalf of the entire staff and myself, we look forward to working together to ensure success for every child here at Barnard.

Respectfully,

Joanna Genovese
